Over 30 young researchers enjoyed in Bilbao of the conference “VI Meeting of Young Researchers in Atomic and Molecular Physics (J2IFAM)”. The meeting was organized by our group.

Pierre Çarçabal from Université Paris Sud visited our Group for two days. We had the opportunty to program the next projects.

The VI Meeting of Young Researchers in Atomic and Molecular Physics (J2IFAM) will take place in Bilbao along the dates 22-24 January 2014. The J2IFAM meeting is a good opportunity to bring together Ph.D. students and young researchers. From our group Montse Vallejo will be presenting an oral talk.

Emilio J. Cocinero presented an oral talk entilted “Determinando estructuras de azúcares por espectroscopías de alta resolución”  

Prof. Jesús Jiménez-Barbero (Centro de Investigaciones Biológica, CSIC, Madrid) visited our Group for two days. He gave a master lecture tilted “RMN y Reconocimiento molecular“. Everyone in the audience was delighted with his lecture about carbohidrates using RMN.  

Patricia Écija, Estíbaliz Méndez and Emilio J. Cocinero will be given an oral presentation at the “68th International Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy” in Ohio, June 17-21, 2013.  

Francisco Corzana (Universidad de la Rioja) gave a very interesting talk in our University “Glicopéptidos derivados de mucinas. Diseño racional de vacunas contra el cáncer”.

Patricia Écija, Estíbaliz Méndez, Imanol Usabiaga, Jorge González, Roberto Fernández and Monste Vallejo gave a oral presentation at the  “V Meeting of Young Researchers on Atomic and Molecular Physics” in Madrid. In addition, our group was chosen to organize the next meeting in Bilbao.
