Emilio J. Cocinero and Jorge Casanova (in the picture bellow) met at Ulm University, Germany. They had interesting discussions about new research lines.

Emilio J. Cocinero finished his term (2014-2017) and Gonzalo Giménez Osses was elected new president of Young Chemists Division (JIQ) of the Spanish Society of Chemistry. The meeting of Young Chemists Division was a success. In addition, Emilio gave a talk during the conference.

Prof. Isabelle Kleiner (LISA, France) and Atef Jabri (LISA, France) visited our laboratory the first weeks of December. Camila is a Ph. D. student from University of Bologne working with Sonia Melandri. She arrived in April at Bilbao and she had joined at MW reserach line. She will work with us for 4 months.

Prof. Zbyszek Kisiel, one of the world’s most renowned spectroscopists, visited our group in Bilbao and gave a master lecture. We were able to discuss possible collaborations in the future.

Lorenzo Spada is a Ph. D. from Bologne University working in Caminati’s group. He is going to visit and work in our group from February until April.

Pierre Çarçabal from Université Paris Sud visited our Group for two days. We had the opportunty to program the next projects.

Our group presented seven contributions to the 68th Ohio State University Molecular Spectroscopy Symposium (MSS) in Columbus. Patricia Écija, Estibaliz Mendez and Emilio J. Cocinero (Univ.
